Here at Serenity, we are focused on helping you and your teams have the best possible experience for managing your EHS workflows. That's why we continue to add features and refine the user experience for our existing suite of applications. Here’s an overview of some of the exciting new features available in today’s release:
In today's fast-paced business environment, the ability to present information clearly and professionally is crucial, especially when it comes to Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) inspections. For EHS professionals, the quality of your inspection reports can significantly impact compliance, safety standards, and stakeholder confidence. That's why we're thrilled to introduce our latest feature: Inspection Report Designer.
The Inspection Report Designer is a powerful tool that allows inspection template owners to design and configure their PDF inspection reports with ease. This feature seamlessly pulls data from your EHS inspection app and places it into a beautifully formatted, configurable, and branded PDF export. Whether you need a high-level summary or a detailed scorecard, the Report Designer gives you the flexibility to create reports that meet your specific needs.
We want to give your teams the best possible experience navigating incidents, inspections, risk assessments, and other work that is assigned to them, which is why we're proud to be introducing a brand-new layout for Incident Center, Inspection Center, Risk Center, and Findings & Actions Center.
The “center” pages in Serenity are where your most critical work gets done, and we've consistently heard a couple areas of feedback that we wanted to address:
That's why we've updated our design that puts your work front and center! Now, when navigating to each of the applications using the left-hand navigation bar, users will now be greeted by a “Your Work” tab, which provides immediate access to:
Right away, you'll notice that it's much simpler to take action and respond to the work that needs attention. You’ll no longer have to manually apply filters to long task lists. For users with elevated roles, you’ll still have a dedicated tab to view all open tasks and previously closed tasks from the same center page.
This enhancement enables template owners to control who can use their templates to create new inspection and risk assessment tasks. With this feature, you can ensure that only authorized personnel have access to utilize and initiate tasks based on your specific templates, enhancing security while also enabling more users to proactively complete inspections and risk assessments.
These features and more are available to Ascend customers today! Enterprise customers can expect these improvements later this summer by upgrading to version 7.8 in the ServiceNow Store.
